Tom Levine was born on November 16, 1945 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He received a Bachelor of Arts in 1967 from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and an M.B.A. from the University of Denver in 1969. He attended the Cincinnati Art Academy from 1970 to 1971, and in 1974 received an M.F.A. from the University of Cincinnati. He lives and works in New York.
